December 2019 Animal Count

December was a busy month here at AFV.
219 cats and 180 dogs found their forever homes for the holidays, and 6 cats and 126 dogs were returned to their owners after becoming lost.
The absolute BEST way to get your pet returned to you if they are lost is to have them MICROCHIPPED!
At Animal Friends of the Valleys, we offer Found Animals Foundation microchips for only $20 at our shelter and at our Walk-In Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic every day between 10:00am and 1:00pm.
Microchips are required for cats and dogs living in the cities of Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, and local County areas along with having your pets spayed and neutered, and we highly encourage our Animal Friends in the Cities of Murrieta and Temecula to do so as well and help us return your lost pets to you!
It takes a “village” throughout our entire valley to help AFV achieve our mission to prevent the suffering of animals and end pet overpopulation in the communities we serve, and we are so thankful to be part of such an amazing, animal-friendly community.
